My husband and I have been married for 22 years and have three children. Since moving to Texas six years ago my family has loved serving and being a part of Lakeside Bible Church. I have had the privilege to work with and teach students, in one capacity or another, for most of my adult life. In addition to homeschooling my three children since they were in kindergarten I have taught grammar, writing, language arts, and a variety of other subjects to elementary, junior high, and high school students. In 2000 I graduated from the Master’s University in California with a BA in English.

Fressia was born and raised in El Salvador and moved to the United States 12 years ago when her family was awarded permanent residency. Fressia has been married to her husband, and best friend, for 10 years. Together, they have 4 boys and have started their homeschool journey with their first two sons. Before becoming a homeschool mom and teacher, she was a reading interventionist for elementary students. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor in Applied Arts & Sciences.
Fressia enjoys reading and spending time outside in nature. Teaching is her passion and she loves that teaching Spanish in particular, allows her to share her culture with others and hopes her students can use these skills to connect with others and share the Gospel.
I have been teaching math for 18 years. I earned my doctorate in Developmental Education Administration in 2020. I love working with students whose favorite subject is anything but math. I hope to instill at least an appreciation of the subject. My favorite subject to teach is geometry. I am married and have 2 children. One will be in college in the fall and the other is in high school. When I have free time, I enjoy seeing and crafting. Love one another. John 13:34
