The gift of Administration usually results in a highly organized person. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Help with the administration of Mission Montgomery, which has a lot of moving parts, volunteers, and paperwork.
• Help organize large events like the Fall Festival
• Join the money counters. These volunteers count and record all the tithes and offerings in the church.
• Serve on a leadership team in the church (Personnel Team, Finance Team, Education Team, Men's Ministry Team, Women's Ministry Team, etc)
• Join a Sunday Morning Bible Study Class and help organize fellowships

The gift of Evangelism usually results in a passion for sharing the good news about Jesus. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Picking up food for Mission Montgomery. This ministry will bring you into contact with vendors who donate to our ministry. Many times this results in a touch with a person who does not know the Lord.
• Sharing your testimony at Men's or Women's breakfasts
• Start an outreach effort to a part of our community with whom God has given you connection. 
• Become a Greeter. This position will allow you to build relationships with our visitors that can result in opportunities to share the gospel.
• Participate in Celebrate Recovery. 
• Go on a mission trip to El Salvador.
• Participate in Bible Club at Madeley Ranch Elementary

The gift of exhortation encourages and supports a wide variety of activities. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Join the Personnel Team to encourage the staff.
• Join a ministry (Senior Adults, Children, Students, Men, Women) for the purpose of encouraging the volunteers, leaders, and people.
• Join the Prayer Team
• Become a grandparent of one of the classes in our schools
• Join a Sunday Morning Bible Study class and reach out to the class each month to encourage them and pray for them.
• Deliver goods for Mission Montgomery. You'll come into contact with lots of faithful servants who need encouragement.
• Join MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) to encourage young moms.

The gift of giving results in a generous spirit looking to quietly help financially whenever needed. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Giving beyond your tithe. You can choose from a bunch of ministries that you would like to support.
• Give to support those going on a mission trip, kids camp, student camp, or other paid event.
• Sponsor a student in the Christian School in El Salvador
• Make a donation to our Forward Together campaign to grow our facilities.
• Give to the church's benevolence fund. This fund helps people in need.

The gift of Mercy results in a compassionate and caring attitude. This can be used at First Montgomery in the following ways:

• Participate in First Montgomery Mobile Church, serving the nursing homes in our community.
• Visitation of people in the hospitals or people who are homebound.
• Joining the prayer team to lift up all the needs in the church and find ways to care for people on that list in tangible ways, too.
• Joining the Greeter team on Sunday mornings.
• Join Celebrate Recovery to help those with hurts, hangups, and habits.
• Join our Quilting Ministry to make beautiful keepsakes for life's major moments

The gift of Prophesy results in person gifted to proclaim truth in any way they can. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Teaching a Bible Study Class
• Teaching a class at Blaze (part-time school to support homeschoolers in our area)
• Join a leadership team  (Personnel Team, Finance Team, Education Team, Men's Ministry Team, Women's Ministry Team, etc)
• Share a devotional at a chapel at one of our schools
• Join the prayer team
• Join MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) as a Mentor Mom.

The gift of serving is widely used in every ministry of the church. Ways to use this gift at First Montgomery include:

• Volunteer at Mission Montgomery
• Join our hospitality team, which prepares food for the church.
• Serve in Children's, Student, Men's, or Women's ministry.
• Join the tech team
• Help setup and take down chairs for various church functions, including Wednesday Nights.
• Help transport people to/from church events
• Join Serve Montgomery to help with light handyman project for people in need.

A gift of shepherding usually accompanies a call to ministry. If you feel called to vocational ministry, please reach out to us! We'll help get you started down that path!

If you are gifted to teach, you have many options at First Montgomery:

• Teach a Bible Study class on Sunday Morning or Wednesday Night.
• Teach at any of the 3 schools in our church.
• Teach a group of Students on Sundays or Wednesdays.
